The booster box sits closest to list#
The 36-pack booster box was about $202, 1.25 times its $161.64 list price, the smallest premium of the six. The six-pack booster bundle was about $40, half again its $26.94 list, and a single pack was $8.02, 1.8 times the $4.49 list. The Build & Battle Box sat furthest above list, at 2.1 times its $21.99 price.
For anyone who preordered: GameStop’s preorder list on Oct. 13 asked $89.99 for the Elite Trainer Box and $299.99 for the booster box, both above their release-day market prices. Its Build & Battle Box ($39.99) and 3-pack blister ($24.99) preorders came in under them.
One snapshot, not a trend#
These are TCGplayer market prices captured once, the evening of release day, through Scrydex. Release-week prices move quickly as more product reaches stores and sellers, so the gap above list could narrow, or not. We’re not calling a trend from one day. Scrydex had no release-day price for the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, so it isn’t in the table. Our October presale story covered prices before release.
The chase card#
The set’s top card, the Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Hyper Rare, had a market price of about $349 on release day. That’s inside the $125–$477 range in our forecast, last updated Nov. 2 and built from its Japanese printing. Card prices for the whole set are on the Delta Reign set page.
