What the badge means
Poké Life offers this badge, free, to any website whose pull-rate pages we've checked against the study each one credits and found to match it, figure by figure, allowing for normal rounding. Every page we checked on the site has to match, and each has to name the study its figures come from. The badge means only that: the pages listed on the site's check page matched their source on the dates shown there. It doesn't mean the study itself is right, that the site's other pages are accurate, or that we endorse the site, its products, or its sellers, and it isn't a certification or a formal audit.
A check lasts 180 days. After that the badge lapses until we check again: the version loaded from our site shows as expired, and a downloaded copy has to come down. We email owners about 30 days before, and they can ask for a recheck at any time through our contact page. If a recheck finds a page that no longer matches, the badge shows "recheck in progress," we tell the site's owner, and we give them 14 days to fix it before we change its grade.
The badge is never paid for and never a condition of advertising, sponsorship, affiliate deals, or a link back to us, and nothing a site does for us can earn or keep one. Poké Life publishes pull rates too, and each site's check page discloses any other connection we have with it, including any commercial relationship.

Downloaded copies show the year of the check. The version loaded from our site also shows when a check lapses.

How it works
- Who can get it: any site with pull-rate pages for sets we track. We check every one of those pages against the study it credits, including the sample size and date it states. Every page has to match and name its source.
- Where it goes: on or next to the pages we checked, not in a sitewide footer, unchanged and linked to your check page. Download it from your check page, or load it from our site so it updates on its own. A downloaded copy doesn't update, so take it down if your check lapses or a recheck finds a problem that isn't fixed. Please don't call it a certification.
- When something changes: we recheck before a badge expires and whenever an owner asks. If we find a problem, we email the owner within one business day with the page, our figure and the source's, and a dated copy of the page. The badge shows "recheck in progress" for up to 14 days. If the page is fixed, the badge comes back with a new date; if not, it lapses.
- If you disagree: tell us through the contact page and we'll recheck within 7 days. If we got it wrong, we correct it and say so on the check page.
- Misuse: an altered badge, one placed on pages we didn't check, a downloaded copy left up after a check lapses, or copy calling it a certification. We ask once and give 14 days to fix it, then withdraw the badge.
